Waxing my balls - Painless, but why is there very little info available on the Internet?

I have my pubic hair waxed by a beauty specialist (she was rather surprised the first time, but she's used to it now /after 6 months). Most simply refuse to wax men. My beauty specialist will not wax my penis though, as she thinks it will hurt me too much (or maybe for other reasons?). So this part I have to shave, much to the unliking of my wife as my shaved dick really hurts her when we have sex, or even when i ride up to her (the stubs are very rough). I tried waxing once, but this did indeed hurt (veex wax), and cream has the same problem as shaving.

Dear Kaitlyn,
I've been answering e-mail all day on a wide variety of skin care problems- but yours took the cake! As long as the fellow likes the effect of having his testicles waxed (I'm assuming non-permanent waxing), then great. Since waxing most often does not affect deeper tissues (cosmetically speaking), at least with the face, then I would not expect problems with waxing this area as well. You are right about the lack of this topic for waxing men's private parts- however, there is plenty of reliable reports showing the effectiveness of waxing with men- most often the upper backs, and less often the chest area.

hi again, thanks for replying so fast.
(... the base of my penis...) hurt enough not to try again for a year; although I might give it a go soon again. After effects are zero, my penis was red for a few hours after, but it was back to normal again the next day, and really smooth! It stayed that way quite some time too (at least 14 days more or less smooth), then the regrowing hair was much softer too. Therefore, if I can find someone to do it, professionally, for me, I certainly will not hesitate one moment. The result is great! --- Robert

While I have never had my genitals waxed, I have heard some information which could substantiate the lack of pain.
People who are surgery-bound need to get a certain amount of scrotal hair removed via electrolysis. I have not yet started my scrotal electrolysis, but I have been told by the electrologist that I see that it is very painless. She says most people don't feel a thing...
Hope that helps....

I discussed your e-mail with our aAestheticians and here are their responses.
Waxing is generally a painful experience. This depends upon each individual and their pain tolerance/threshold. One of our aAesthetician's has heard of this procedure being done to male genitals and said she felt it was probably pretty painful. Man's tolerance does, in fact, sometimes tend to be higher than women's.
If you choose to have this procedure done and you are currently shaving, you must allow the hair to grow our to at least 1/4" in order to be able to wax it. Also, it is up to the discretion or the aAesthetician whether or not they choose to do this procedure. This procedure is not done at our facility and we suggest you call your local salons to find an aAesthetician who can perform this procedure for you. There are male aAestheticians out there also.
Hopefully this helps you out. Thank you for your questions.

Hmmm... Intriguing question! I have waxed other portions of male anatomy, though never genitals. I'm more likely to pull out hairs with tweezers, or to burn them off! Most of my professional clients have partners or wives who would notice a sudden denuding down there, and many of them are pretty paranoid. My personal experience being on both the receiving and the administering end of waxing would lead me to think that it would be much more painful than shaving, because you have to pull the skin taut as you pull the wax off, and scrotums have so much loose skin. (Hmmm-- a possibility would be to try some cock and ball bondage first, which would tighten the skin, although it does also make everything more sensitive...) The one real advantage that I found in getting waxed was the longer time that I could go before repeating the process, as compared to shaving. I think that your friend's experience may be an anomaly, but it is worth trying.

Most of the clean shaved genitals I have seen have been done by shaving. Whenever I see a clean shaved man, I ask if he has ever waxed... So far 100% have shaved. I don't know if it would hurt or not

I have to admit, I do not have any information on the topic, and with my 18 years of experience I had never had such request as waxing male genital.

I only know of one women who is willing to perform electrolysis on a man's genitals. This can be a real problem for men and I would like to know of other people who do hair removal on men's genitals. I'm told that one of the reasons most Aestheticians don't promote themselves to do male waxing and electrolysis is due to the fear that they might get some "strange" customers. I know that this woman will only consider taking on a male client for the genital area with a doctor's letter.

well...though I have waxed My genitals...I haven't waxed My phillip yet...I have done it to a former slave...Wwe went to a salon that a gay friend owned..and the friend did the waxing...using a lotion/cream on his balls and the little bit on his cock...and it numbed him a bit... he said it didn't hurt until afterwards...but the actual pulling out didn't hurt...there is not much on this subject even to those who force femme their slaves...they just use a razor...I do think waxing would be painful...but from what only one man I know that did it said it didn't hurt...I hope I helped you... Sincerely Mistress Cynthia

I've had my butt and asshole waxed however the waxer (a man) said he is willing to wax every part of a male except his balls. which I wanted done. Glad to hear its painless- when I go back to him perhaps I can be more persuasive knowing its less painful than around the penis or asshole.
From the Shaver's Forum:
Yes, I have waxed my genitals...I will tell you I thought the wax was warm but it was hot to the area above my cock. I was real red for days. I thought for sure I had blistered the area. Nothing like a first degree burn on the privates. Sure glad it wasn't a second degree burn with blistering.
That was the first and last time I had waxed my genitals. Now I either shave or pluck.
> 1) Have you or Do you wax(ed) your genitls(Yes/No)?
Yes, occasionally. I have had all my body hair removed by waxing a number of times by two different beauticians. They did my pubic hair up to and including the lower part of the shaft of my penis but not my balls
> 2) If yes was it a positive experience(Yes/No)?
Partly. I found it nowhere near as painful as some people might suggest. The problem is that you need to let the hair grow to at least a quarter of an inch before waxing - this can be two to three weeks of non-smoothness. After waxing I was very smooth indeed for about five days and then the stubble appeared. Ingrowing hairs can also be a problem after waxing. Worth doing, perhaps, for a very special occasion when you want to be really super smooth!
> 1) Have you or Do you wax(ed) your genitls(Yes/No)?
Yes. Once by a girlfriend, once by a proffessional beautician, and many times self-waxed. You gotta choose the right wax tho'.
> 2) If yes was it a positive experience(Yes/No)?
Absolutely! A little painfull during and for the rest of the day but afterwards.... wow. 100% smoother than shaving!
YES. Once. I'm a male, and had contracted pubic lice (first and only time thank goodness). I was so freaked I just wanted all hair gone from pubic region. I didn't want to shave cos the regrowth might be too itchy, so instead I waxed. It went so easily and left my balls so tingly. I was nervous that because of the loose skin around that area that the waxing could really rip and cause bruising, but all I needed to do was streeeeetch the skin as tight as. Along with an application of pubic lice medication I did get rid of that problem.
> 2) If yes was it a positive experience(Yes/No)?
Yeah, it was very positive, in that I had heightened awareness and sensation specially in my balls. But as a normal routine in my body maintenance I wouldn't really go for it. Smooth balls are yummy, but I still like to have a bit of pubes.
> 1) Have you or Do you wax(ed) your genitls(Yes/No)?I have waxed the base of my penis many times. Actually waxing produces a much softer feeling than shaving, although when I shave, I everyday, inclues.. I am planning to stop shaving for two weeks so that I can try waxing my pubes too. I have also tried waxing my underarms. > 2) If yes was it a positive experience(Yes/No)? I would say that it was a positive experience for me. I started to wax at the suggestion of a person who had had electrolysis done on his penis. His electrologist told him to wax for a year prior to beginning electrolysis treatment. For me, my penis stays smooth for about two and a half to three weeks. The only drawback to waxing is that there is a period of time, for me- a week to ten days when there is stubble, although less coarse than the stubble produced from shaving. One needs to do the trade off on smoothness-shaving daily or waxing monthly with a period of stubble. Waxing would be perfect for the person who is planning a trip.
> 1) Have you or Do you wax(ed) your genitls(Yes/No)? Yes; I have on occassion. It is definately much smoother and last much longer than shaving. One thing I especially like about it is that I am so smooth that it is though I have no body hair (I've waxed my entire body). What a dream! The one reason I don't wax regularly is that you have to allow the hair to grow out to a certain length. I can't stand that. I enjoy being smooth at ALL times! > 2) If yes was it a positive experience(Yes/No)? Definately a positive experience!
> 1) Have you or Do you wax(ed) your genitls?Yes > 2) If yes was it a positive experience? Yes I wax because there is nothing like the smoothness and the weeks that it stays smooth. Plus, the hair comes back finer.
> 1) Have you or Do you wax(ed) your genitls(Yes/No)? Yes > 2) If yes was it a positive experience(Yes/No)? It was a bit painful, but after repeated times it wasn't that bad..it takes alot longer to grow back than if I would have shaved. Stubble usually takes 3-4 weeks to reappear.
