Waxing my balls - Painless, but why is there very little info available on the Internet?

After shaving my balls for the past 20 years, I finally decided to go the route of waxing. The choice was not a sexual decision, just personal preference because I hate shaving and the girls I hang out with like the feel of soft balls.
Pain?
To all you guys who have considered it, this process DOES NOT HURT males at all! In fact, the removal of one inch of hair ABOVE my penis was much more painfull than my balls. Had I known this I would have waxed years earlier and by now most of the hair would be gone forever (as waxing continues, I've heard it is possible to create bald patches which never grow back).
Note: for a woman, the area around her genitals is VERY painfull which is why girl's grimace when we talk about waxing ours.
Information published on the web or by Aesthetician Schools:
I searched the web using MANY MANY search engines and web crawlers and found ZILCH about the topic. None of the Aestheticians contacted had much knowledge either, so Kaitlyn created this page for me to help the internet community centralize knowledge about this rare process. Finally an internet topic that is NON-EXISTANT (not one of those been there, done that, seen that sites)...
In hindsight, almost all Aestheticians have never waxed the male gentials (you should have heard the reaction I got from Aesthetician Schools) and so this really is an un-researched topic.
How to find a professional Aesthetician:
The worst part of the waxing was I could NOT, repeat NOT get an Aesthetician to take me seriously. Yeah, sure you could do yourself, but at only $15 a pop get a life - trust an expert with your privates! Every salon I called treated me rudely and refused to work on males. I even tried (out of desperation) the massage parlours and hookers: they weren't properly trained to help me and strongly suggested I use a trained Aesthetician. This is reverse discrimination against males, but I guess that's understandable. They assumed it would be extremely painfull and refused. Note: for a woman, the area around her genitals is VERY painfull which is why they all grimace when we talk about waxing ours.
Do not waste your time calling around! Get a referral. However, there is no need to use an Aesthetician one who has worked on genitals before, as the process is the same regardless of where the wax in sensitive areas is applied. Just make sure you see a professional, and let her know that it is NOT as painfull as for a woman.
I was talking about my problem finding someone who would do "the dirty deed" with a female stripper I knew well and she immediately called her own Aesthetician and vouched for my honest intentions. Done deal! This Aesthetician had never done the male genitals, and warned me it would be extremely painfull, but said she would work with me and get it done safely. She was professional and I felt safe with this procedure being done on my balls.
So, don't start pulling out the Yellow Pages, just get a female friend to recommend you to her Aesthetician. If your friends' feel awkward about it (or do not want them to know until after it's done), ask a Dancer - they've heard everything and your's will not be their strangest question!
How to assist your Aesthetician to make sure she is comfortable with the procedure:
The Aesthetician will probably be somewhat uncomfortable, so help her out. Otherwise, then she would not be acting professional, so find someone else.
Help out the Aesthetician by pulling your own penis taut during the process (and no you won't be embarrased by getting a hard on ... it won't happen to you no matter how drop-dead gorgeous she is). Your help lets her concentrate on the job with both hands, and the taught skin keeps her from tearing your skin as well as the hairs. To date in my research, I have heard that the penis is MUCH more sensitive to the process, but that could be in the method as well.
Use your own hands, again, to stretch the skin around your balls tight so the cloth can pull the hair and not the skin. Some reply's I have received have suggested ball rings and vacuume pumps to expand the scrotum, but I'm not into pain and hand stretching suited me just fine. It appears as if the hairs in the scrotum are shallower than the rest of the body (such as the back) and so are not as painfull to remove. Or it could be that after 20 years of shaving my skin was tougher. Nobody seems to know.
Wait at least two weeks after shaving to let your hair grow, but perhaps three weeks would be better. I waited two, but as a result, some of my pubic hair was not long enough in some places to be pulled out completely. Some of the smaller hair on my balls could not be removed this time, but I look forward to NOT shaving just to let them grow longer just so they can be removed next time!
What to expect afterwards:
Basically my balls are now as soft as a babies bottom. I had absolutely no discomfort immediately afterwards, though I did take the precaution of wearing clean soft underware and loose shorts. My Aesthetician suggested an aloe mosturizing product to use afterwards, and make sure it contained minimum chemicals and ingrediants. You might get some "Whitch Hazel" to use as an astringent just to play it safe.
Again, waxing my genitals was painless and had no after effects. Even though the next day the skin over my balls was a bit tender, it was no more so then after shaving and getting nicked. As a bonus, you will be safer during sex - nicked skin increases the possibility of receiving sexually transmitted disease.
